Morelia, Michoacán, to December 18, 2016 (MiMorelia.com).- With the goal of having officers and public officials trained in the care of women victims of violence, the Government of Michoacán, through the Secretariat of Substantive Equality and Development of Women Michoacán (Seimujer), concluded the first course "Clinical and Psychoanalytic Feminism to the Attention and Prevention of Gender-based Violence," taught by the researcher of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (GRADUATED) Flor de María Gamboa Solís.
The owner of the Seimujer, Fabiola Alanís Samano, stressed that throughout this course, we concluded that it is essential that those who have the responsibility to prevent and address gender-based violence observed that it is a complex phenomenon, which has structural foundations and a long history in the formation of our societies.
"A very important that we are building on this government to prevent and respond to violence against women is the training of a new generation of officers and officials who have sufficient elements for the understanding of this phenomenon", stressed the officer.

For its part, the researcher Flor de María Gamboa Solís recalled that the studies of gender, from a scientific development, have shown that the violence that is perpetrated against women manifests itself in different forms and within different scopes.
