Spanish government dismisses new referendum for independence in Catalonia – Radio China International

The spokesperson of the government of Spain, Iñigo Méndez de Vigo, said Friday that he informed the president of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, that there would be no referendum of self-determination “because it goes against the Spanish Constitution”.
