Councillors of Paraná discussed in committee the tender of the Urban Transport of Passengers

- The members of the Commission of Legislation and of the Public Services, respectively, continued this Tuesday analysing the tender Specifications for the next concession of the urban transport service of passengers in Paraná

"we Finished with the analysis of the Statement of General Conditions and routes, subtracting only small aggregates in line with what the same would be worked completely, by estimating today to conclude your treatment, and the final opinion would be the result of the public hearing scheduled for this Thursday 28 of December," explained the council member Maria Marta Zuiani, president of the Commission of Legislation of the Deliberative Council of Paraná.

Zuiani stressed that although the Commission introduced some minor modifications, the essence of the tender specifications it is still maintained as referred to the Municipal Executive Department.

Referring to the public hearing this Thursday, estimated that "if this call come a few suggestions that can be contained, the same shall be incorporated into the Tender terms and Conditions".

On the subject of rates, Zuiani commented: "We have heard that it has been talking a lot about the particular, with questions about it," and indicated that "it will be very difficult to modify, because on the particular it should be borne in mind that the fee is set on the basis of parameters laid down by the Ministry of Transport of the Nation".

The regard he reported that "there is a table that provides the cost-intensive every one of the components of the tariff, which will make the final determination of the same".

Expanding his considerations on the subject, Zuiani says: "If we extend the path of the lines of urban and interurban we’re doubling the rate, for which we have to do is to integrate the services provided by the province through the metropolitan area with the city of Paraná, trying to achieve the best rate for all users".
