Board Andalusia has maneuvered to prevent the developer of the hotel at the Almeria area of El carob, in the natural park of Cabo de Gata, to complete the construction of this building, which was stopped in February 2006. Autonomous Government shall formalize the right of redemption of the soil, which means that the estate of Carboneras is entered into the record on behalf of the Board.
This right of withdrawal was approved in 2006 by the Andalusian government. But the builder has filed two appeals before the Supreme Court, which has not yet been resolved.
