Two people were injured, one very seriously, in a fire that originated around five am in a house, an old restored mill in the parish of Aldige in the town of Lugo Abadín. The intervention of firefighters Vilalba and Civil Guard managed to extinguish the fire on the seven o’clock though the house was completely burned.
In the house lived a couple with two children of women. Man is the most affected, with severe burns very qualified, and had to be rushed to the University Hospital of A Coruña. The other of the wounded, less serious, is one of the sons of the woman, 17, who is admitted to the Lucus Augusti Hospital of Lugo.
The Civil Guard ruled that the fire was intentional . Researchers point to a short circuit in an oven as the most likely cause but not discarded a cigarette as the cause of the fire.
