Final Fantasy XV could take over 1 year to get to PC – LEVELUP

The PC version of Final Fantasy XV remains a mystery, as Square Enix has not revealed official information about that, we just have a "maybe" on the part of the company. However, Hajime Tabata talked about the situation, explaining that to happen, the study would take 1 year to make a port.

"On the basis of this assumption, we do not talk about something real, only an idea, if we work in a PC version what I have very clear is that we would work to offer a version much better than what we have now in consoles," said Hajime Tabata for Extra Life. "You could say that something like this would take us more than 1 year. We would have to work on adapting the engine, something very laborious, and from there the development to follow its course."

The statements of Tabata on an enhanced version of Final Fantasy XV are not new, as in April said that, there is a PC edition, it should have a better technical performance, with extra content and new features to make it different to the consoles. "This would be an opportunity to launch a version far superior in terms of quality and technology," he said in his time, adding that they would begin an investigation to find out what was the best technology they could rely.
