Gruesome discovery in Spain: a woman is mummified in his own home – RT in Spanish – international News

The valencia town of Llíria, in the east of Spain, has been a witness of a finding as macabre as curious: when a judicial commission was going to proceed to eviction from a dwelling, they found the body of a woman, in a state of mummification of nature, according to confirmed sources and municipal Civil Guard to the agency Europa Press.

it Was Amparo Rubio, a woman of 52 years who had disappeared months ago, no one gave the voice of alarm or seem concerned about his whereabouts. The neighbors commented to the local press that Amparo was a person, very solitary and little sociable”.

The state of the body, without signs of violence, suggests that the death occurred by natural causes. Usually, after death, the body begins to undergo a normal process of putrefaction; however, on this occasion, given the dry conditions of the room where the death occurred, and still the house completely closed, with the windows closed and the blinds lowered, it took place a process of mummification natural.

In all the time that Amparo was missing -it is estimated that the death may have occurred about 5 months – the only ones who showed some concern were the neighbors that lived on the plot of land adjacent, who came to contact with the local police, alarmed by the lack of signs of life that they perceived for a long time. In statements collected also by the local press, ensuring that “[police officers] came several times but they rang the bell, and as nobody opened the door and they turned to go to where they had come”. With respect to the last time I saw her alive, Eve, the neighbor, says that “he went out to sweep the terrace and went running to see me”.

The neighbors also suspected that something like this could be happening because some of the pets of Relief-in particular two dogs that had out of the house – began to present any kind of signs of neglect and malnutrition. Municipal sources confirm, moreover, that in the interior of the house proceeded to check out some dead animals, without specifying more.

Reaction institutional

as reported by Europa Press, the mayor of the town, Manolo Civera, was surprised by the fact that he had not denounced the disappearance of Amparo, in all this time. In addition, he justified the police inaction, arguing that the agents “could not act ex officio, or gain access to the home without court order”.

on the other hand, the mayor said that the woman’s home is located in an area sparsely inhabited, so that dealing with neighbors is not daily. Even so, he acknowledged that this case shows a “crack in the system of protection of the people”.
