Apple is more ‘mobile’ than ever – Puebla online

“; $ (list).append(itemvar); } $ (“#wrapp_plg_releted_items_46028″).show(); $ (“#wrapp_plg_releted_items_46028″).append(list); } } ) .fail( function (jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown) { $ (imgloading).remove(); }); }); })(jQuery);

Since the introduction of the iPhone in 2007, Apple has led —along with other manufacturers— the revolution mobile. A revolution based on the mobility, on the waste of the desktop computer, traditional and, above all, in the universalization of the technology.

During the last few years of Apple, this focus on mobile has been proven on multiple occasions. Cycles of renewal, for example, reveal how the company is positioned to more effort on products more mobile: iPhone, iPad, and MacBook. These three categories receive product updates on a regular basis, a dynamism that contrasts with the stagnation of products such as the Mac mini and the Mac Pro, abandoned in a ditch for more than two years.

The society demands products more thin, versatile and mobile. The desktop computer does not comply with any of those features.

The reasons that lead the company to shift towards mobility are obvious and evident: the society demands it. In the professional field, more and more people opting for laptops —in many cases, connected to external monitors—, iPad, and iPhone. The computer classic desktop is relegated to a much smaller niche of the professional market.

beyond the professional field, desktop computers are already a piece of decoration more. The majority of the products purchased for this type of environments are tablets and laptops (especially ultrabooks). More comfortable, equally valid for the most common tasks, and similar in price.

iPad, iPhone, and MacBook are the greatest part of the revenue of Apple. Them all, products intended for the disabled.

These claims on the part of the society also are reflected in the financial results of the company. The iPad, the iPhone and the MacBook line represent the greater part of the profits of the company. The desktop a more classic, instead, are relegated to a second place.

During the last two events of the company, this shift has been especially notable. The Mac Pro, iMac and Mac mini continue to receive news, in part because of the inefficiency of Intel—; the iPhone, iPad and MacBook, in contrast, does not. And is that Apple is more mobile than ever.
