in order To put a stop to violence against women and to denounce the failure of the authorities, this Friday evening, hundreds of women and men participated in the National Mobilization ag ainst the Violence of Machismo in the capital potosina.
simultaneously, the activity took place in different cities of the Mexican Republic, especially in those where the femicides have been on the increase in recent years.
The rally began in the plaza in front of the General Directorate of Public Security of the State (DGSPE), and then head to the Procuraduría General de Justicia del estado (PGJE), the unit that was closed in a symbolic way by some of the protesters.
There, one of about 350 people –mostly women – took to the bullhorn to denounce the existence of domestic violence on the public road, as well as a lack of protocols to ensure the safety of the citizens potosinas.
The contingent ran through different streets of the Historical Centre under different slogans, however, were made to feel most were: “not one more, not one more, Not one killed more!”,”I justice to those who are not!", among other claims to the State headed by Juan Manuel Carreras López.
