The committees of Gender and Eradication of the Trafficking of People, Finance and Budget, and Legislation and Constitutional Affairs, met to discuss legislative files referred to this topic.
This series of meetings were convened from the agreement reached between the political forces for the analysis of the initiatives, and to pass a law or set of them framed in a Comprehensive Plan to combat Gender-based Violence.
lawmakers achieved consensus on working for the effective enforcement of the Law 8.226 by which the province of Mendoza adheres to the Law 26.485 Integral Protection and Eradication of violence against women. It also will incorporate concepts and articles to several of the records in accordance with the contributions that the legislators have thought necessary.
In turn, stressed that will address initiatives relating to the creation of special prosecutors ‘ offices in the province to address cases of gender-based violence; to incorporate the issue of violence against women in establishments of public health; centers of the approach of the aggressor; and the establishment as a State Policy of the fight for the prevention, eradication and punishment of gender-based violence and family.
it will Also consider the projects related to the creation of a protocol for the treatment of gender-based violence in the media; the system of alerts for people who report gender-based violence; amendments to the educational system of the University Institute of Public Safety including the gender perspective and the protocol of attention to victims of gender-based violence; among others.
it Was agreed to work to give early clearance to the records mentioned above, and some related, and in the same sense, will be sent to the Judiciary and the Executive some files so that these powers carried out the necessary inputs and it can give the sanction necessary legislative including the opinion of all sectors.
in The same way, it was agreed to work on all cases that do not require spending budget although with the caveat of dealing with over these last so urgent and objectives in the short and medium term.
