Hispanic World | Houston, Texas.- A hispanic man driving their children to school without imagining that he had a firearm in his car.
the incident occurred in the street number 7000 Bissonnet around 7:05 in the morning of Tuesday, November 15.
The victim was identified as Antonio Medardo Alvarenga, 40, who was taken to Hospital at Memorial Hermann.
Although in the press release, the police say that it is in good condition, the family says otherwise.
The senior Officer of the Department of the Houston Police (HPD, for its acronym in English), J. Villareal and Officer R. Lujan reported that mr. Alvarenga was driving near the above address, leading to his son, 10 years old, and her daughter, also 10 years old, to school.
At some point, the son took a pistol from the backpack and fired the weapon once across the back of the driver’s seat which was occupied by his father.
The paramedics of the Houston Fire Department responded to the scene and transported to Alvarenga to the hospital.
The homicide investigators of HPD responded to the scene and took the child to the Assessment Center for Children more questions.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation continues.
