Rajoy defends its policies in the session of control to the Executive – Hispan TV (press Release)

on Tuesday we resumed the session of control to the Executive of Mariano Rajoy, the president of the Spanish Government answered to the questions of the parties.

The 27 questions of the Spanish political parties Rajoy and his ministers in the Congress of Deputies, focused on pensions and its stability and the aspirations for independence of Catalonia, topics that are considered central to the new legislature.

On the independence of Catalonia, Rajoy stressed that in no case will accept that from the north-east region demand a “referendum, yes or yes.” The head of the Spanish government responded to the intervention of the judge, and now senator of the Republican Left of Catalonia (ERC, Catalan) Santiago Vidal, sentenced Monday by the Spanish Supreme for having drawn up a draft Constitution Catalan with a view to independence.

Spain has a Welfare State of which we can be proud of. With more employment there will be resources to enforce it", said the president of Spain, Mariano Rajoy.

Vidal has rejected the statements of Rajoy and has asked explanations for the decision of the Supreme. "And do not doubt that so will be”, has apostille in reference to the possibility of a referendum of independence.

During the session, the president of the Spanish Government returned to defend the policies applied by his Government in the last legislature —which, in its opinion, “have been effective”— and thus expressed their willingness to listen to proposals, but persevering in them.

Rajoy also reported improvements in pensions, social spending and measures to generate employment, and stated that the aim of his Government is that by 2020 have been found to work 20 million people.

"Spain has a Welfare State of which we can be proud of. With more employment there will be resources to strengthen it", he said.

From the 29th of October, date in which was vested Rajoy, the president of the Government and their plans for the new legislature, have been the target of criticism from different political personalities in Spanish as the people of this country, who took to the streets in protest for his inauguration.

In reaction to the criticism, Rajoy has assured that the ruling Popular Party (PP) is recovering some of the confidence lost in the previous years and has made an appeal to the "responsibility" of the parties to allow the Executive to govern.
