The Guardia Civil arrested today in Badalona, in the north-east Catalan province of Barcelona, two moroccans on charges of indoctrination and recruitment jihadist linked to the Islamic State (EI).
Madrid.- The Guardia Civil arrested today in Badalona, in the north-east Catalan province of Barcelona, two moroccans on charges of indoctrination and recruitment jihadist linked to the Islamic State (EI).
The arrest culminated an operation performed from the first hours of this Tuesday, and after the arrests proceeded to the registration of their homes to seize material on your Internet activity.
The detainees they pay special attention to security, using secure means of communication through various telephone lines.
“The detainees would have been able to capture since several people who were fully convinced of travelling to a conflict zone to be integrated in the terrorist groups there operate,” reported the Spanish ministry of the Interior.
Also, they themselves “would have left no patent on social networks, repeatedly, their readiness to join the ranks of the Islamic State in Syria”.
For its activities, the detainees “would have collaborated on the funding of the group by means of criminal activities related to drug trafficking and crimes against the patrimony”.
From June 2015, when the Spanish government rose to 4 the Level of Alert against Terrorism, the Security Forces have arrested a total of 185 suspected jihadists.
