Cassini spacecraft of NASA reveals details of the planet Saturn – teleSUR TV

The images were taken at a very short distance, and show the rings of debris, ice cream on the planet.

New images from the Cassini spacecraft of the NASA show, from a short distance, the glittering rings of debris ice-cream of the planet saturn.

The pictures were taken from a short distance and allow scientists to observe various characteristics, including some with names like “straw” and “propellers”.

The new images from Cassini allow you to see details as small as 550 square, that is to say, as if they were to scale the highest buildings in the Earth.

The spacecraft takes images of the outer edges of the rings and brings together photographs of the moons Daphnis and Pandora.

“These close views represent the opening of a brand new window in the rings of Saturn, and in the coming months we look forward to even more exciting as we train our cameras in other parts of the rings closer to the planet,” said Matthew Tiscareno, a Cassini studying Saturn’s rings at the SETI Institute, Mountain View, California.
