Private Sector laments its absence in the Fitur – globovision.com

The president of Conseturismo, José Yapur, described as unfortunate the absence of a large part of the private sector in the International Tourism trade Fair (FITUR), this being very important because “the international wholesalers are looking not only for what destinations but which products offer”.

“The call came late and the decision to participate was also late,” he said.

this Is the most important trade fair for Latin america; however, “a large part of the private sector was not able to attend because the decision to participate with its stand national was given in moments where I was not fully prepared (…) only a few four were able to attend.”

Yapur explained that the industry needed a prepair between 3 or 4 months, “must be to establish a strategy, a plan of what you should carry and show in the market.”

“I Hope that we can make the correctives for the exhibitions that will take place in the next few months, make a strategy together to make more effective the participation in this type of events”, he added.

Venezuela opened its booth at the 37th edition of the FITUR 2017, in Madrid (Spain), an event that took place between the 18 and 22 January.

on the other hand, the president of Conseturismo, reported that in the last few weeks there has been a resurgence of important tourists colombians from Bogota and Medellin and argentina, to the island of Margarita.
