Awarded ‘Best Promotional campaign’ in tourism – The Star of Panama

The International Tourism Fair Lunch, in its EIGHTEENTH edition, has awarded a prize to Panama with the recognition of the ‘Best Promotional Action in the field of tourism’ in the morning this Saturday.

Lunch, the International exhibition of Tourism and Gastronomy, with headquarters in the city of Galicia, Spain, one of the house dining pintorezcos of the world.

This year, Panama was featured as the guest country to the event in which the tourism and the gastronomy exhibit to open doors for all the looks and all the tastes in the Expourense.

With tastings, workshops, tastings, lectures, art exhibitions and other activities, Panama has had the opportunity to run between a number of dining alternatives of Spain and Portugal, in addition to Costa Rica, Mexico, Ecuador, Paraguay, France, Peru, Cuba and Argentina, in spaces adapted to receive the visitors and exhibitors.

As the guest country, Panama has had a stand of its own that has served as a platform for promoting the tourist attractions in various segments, in addition to a restaurant led by the Club Culinary of Panama.

In 2014, Lunch earned international recognition on the part of the Secretariat of State of Trade of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of the Spanish Government, becoming formally in an event of great value to the promotion of the value and potential for tourism, cultural and gastronomic.

CRITERIA FOR AWARDS

The Awards Lunch 2017, are born with the aim of recognizing the initiatives of business and professional outstanding, while boosting the value of the tourist and gastronomic.

For the award in the category 'Best promotional campaign’ in the field of tourism, the jury considered: innovation, impact and repercussion of the campaign presented; degree of involvement of the initiative in the International Salon of Gastronomy and Tourism; performances and complementary activities.
