A man of british nationality was detained in Spain accused of having abused more than 30 children in the Uk and Thailand, today reported the Guardia Civil.
The detention took place in the province of Alicante, in the east of Spain, where the arrested had fixed his residence with a new identity after having served a sentence in the Uk for similar offences, reported dpa sources in the body of a security.
The arrested, of 70 years, was extradited to his country, where it is pending trial as the alleged perpetrator of 45 sexual offences to minors both in the Uk and abroad.
According to the Guardia Civil, the first assault took place in the 80′s. The detainee is accused of having abused several minors in the store of a college where I was teaching English. Also of abusing his own adopted son. In 1986 sought to adopt another child, but finally was denied.
Before moving to Spain, the alleged sex offender had been arrested by the Thai Police accused of having abused nine children who deceived them with money and gifts. In the images, which he himself recorded, was “making the heart symbol with their hands while abusing children”, according to the Guardia Civil.
The operation that allowed the arrest in Alicante, spain, which counted with the collaboration of the british Police and the coordination of Europol, kicked off after the analysis of the computer of another man arrested in the Netherlands, in which were located images and chats of 15 children who suffered from the abuses of the british and who were identified.
