This Friday, January 27th is commemorated as a date that, by the tragic nature of the facts, it should not go unnoticed. During the liberation of Poland in 1945, the soviet army enters the concentration camp, the largest of the nazi Germany, Auschwithz-Birkenau, in Poland.

Between 1.5 million and 2.5 million people, mostly jews, were exterminated by agents of the evil, intolerance, and radicalism. In these sites experiments were carried out and committed atrocities against the order of nature, violated human rights and conducted a systematic extermination of human beings, only by their religion and ethnic origin.

humanity is understood that this is a criminal behavior which should not be returning ever again. It is for this reason that many countries, especially those who participated in the actions of the II World War, kept in its legislation with severe penalties for the lack of knowledge of the Holocaust.

During the following years, the creation of the United Nations and the State of Israel have allowed the memory of the victims remains latent in those who survived the outrageous extermination.

Visit the Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem is an experience that all that we can we have to have a once in a life time. It can be seen, in one building, all the wickedness of some, and in contrast, the bravery and of those who, oppressed, and insulted, they clung to life as their forces allowed them, and those who survived had the courage to share an experience that everyone should know so that it can not be repeated.

we Live in a world where secrets last what it takes for a citizen to write 140 characters. Our means of communication have the technology to monitor any apprentice dictator who try to repeat, whether of thought, a genocide of such magnitude.

What is the Holocaust? What do you remember?

from The Latin holocaustum, the holocaust is a mass slaughter of human beings. Its use is linked to the genocide of some six million jews during the Second World War, carried out by the nazi regime of Germany.

Holocaust, in this sense, it was a planned program of extermination conceived by Adolf Hitler and other nazi leaders who appealed to the industrialized murder and systematized by certain social groups. While the main victims were jews, other groups were also persecuted such as gypsies, homosexuals and the disabled.

A plan the one who ran Adolf Hitler but that was previously created and designed by the commander-in-chief of the SS Organization (military, police, and security of Nazi Germany: Heinrich Himmler. This, then, would become Minister of the Interior, established in a methodical way the elimination of the various social groups that, in his view, impeded to create the famous aryan race that would give strength, power and superiority to the aforesaid nation of the germans.

The massacre was carried out in several stages. The nazis established concentration camps where prisoners were used as slaves until they died, either by disease or by physical exhaustion.

Many were the extermination camps that were put in place during the time that Hitler was at the forefront of the country. Among them, for example, that of Belzec, which was one of the first that were put in place.

that would add other that, unfortunately, have become scenarios well-known from the History of the TWENTIETH century. This would be the case of the Auschwitz camp, which was created with the idea that it was the place where they murdered the jews that circulated all over the european continent.

however, they were also employees of other cruel methods and also assassins to end the life of the prisoners of these concentration camps. So, for example, many died from the hard labour to which they were subjected, by the beatings that they gave the nazi leaders, by shooting or even by the fault of the hungry passers-by.

on the other hand, in the territories annexed by the nazi Germany created ghettos where they held the jews to be transported in freight trains to the aforementioned fields. Those that didn’t die on the trip were eventually killed in the gas chambers.

the definition of The holocaust varies according to the sources. The number of victims depends on the historical studies that are considered. There are those who even deny the holocaust and the existence of the gas chambers.

it should Be noted that, beyond this historical fact, the concept of holocaust was used in the religious sphere, to refer to the sacrifice of animals in large bonfires.

The holocaust was common in different pagan greeks and romans, as well as in certain sacrifices jews.

it Is also underlined that they used the word holocaust to refer to the total sacrifice of their interests, or affections, that a person performs in particular is motivated primarily by the love that one feels for another.
