VALENCIA, 20 JAN. (AVAN).- The parish church of El Salvador and Santa Monica to Valencia, which preserves the column to which, according to tradition, was tied to San Vicente Martyr when he was taken prisoner from Zaragoza to Valencia to be judged, has commemorated this evening with a mass in the mozarabic rite the solemnity of the patron saint of the diocese valentina, which is being held this Sunday.
The mass in the mozarabic rite has been performed by Jaime Sancho, conservator of the artistic heritage and director of the Museum of the Metropolitan Cathedral of Valencia, who, in addition, gave a lecture on this rite, last Wednesday, in the temple itself.
Precisely in this same parish, where stands the Column, will start tomorrow, Saturday, an ecumenical pilgrimage to the places linked to St. Vicente Martyr in Valencia.
