Santa Teresa Foundation invites the V Mountain Race Race 13K / ENTORNOINTELIGENTE.COM / The Council Revenga Municipality, April 2015.- The mountain race of the year most anticipated returns this Sunday 31 May the Hacienda Santa Teresa®, where 3,000 runners will vibrate with the V Mountain Race 13K Race Santa Teresa Foundation, to benefit Alcatraz® Rugby Project and Santa Teresa.
This edition is fully charged, it will be more than 1,000 runners past, at the request of the same athletes and the rapid growth that records the discipline of trail running in Venezuela the year.
“We are ready to receive these 3,000 runners who wish to come not only for sports but for a different experience in a spectacular setting and making effort and discipline in positive change for the communities in the municipality Revenga state through the Santa Teresa Foundation programs, “said Andres Chumaceiro, director of the Hacienda Santa Teresa.
Will be seven categories in which athletes can participate who enroll in the competition to be held on the traditional circuit and 13 kilometers at Santa Teresa®, and accumulates about 400 vertical meters.
The race has been endorsed by the Venezuelan Association of Trail Running, after having checked the path and found that the organization complies with the standards set by the International Association of Trail Running (ITRA for its acronym in English).
En route, the athletes will have six points and hydration, so that the runners are well attended, as well as medical points along the route. The times will be recorded by electronic chips and again the output will be held by groups, according to the days of 2014 or earlier.
The first male and female absolute locations receive as prizes 25 thousand bolivars in cash, a smartphone Alcatel One Touch, a certificate of lodging at the Marriott Hotel Playa Grande for a weekend and Puma shoes; the second place overall male and female will receive 15 billion bolivars in cash, a smartphone Alcatel One Touch, a certificate of lodging at the Marriott Hotel Playa Grande for a weekend and Puma products; third place overall male and female, 10 billion bolivars in cash, a smartphone Alcatel One Touch, a certificate of lodging at the Marriott Hotel Playa Grande for a weekend and Puma products.
The value of the pre-registration until May 6 to Bs. 1,400 and Bs. 1,700 from May 7 per athlete and may enter through the site www.fundaciosantateresa.org and in the shops macundales, Av Rio de Janeiro, Chuao, Caracas, and located in the CC La Cascada in San Antonio de Los Altos; Valeo CC Toulon stores in Caracas and Maracay CC Americas; 8 Miles store located in the San Ignacio Mall in Caracas; and the Hacienda Santa Teresa in the store at the station Council. The delivery of materials will be Saturday May 30 at two points: Baruta Caracas Express Center in Blue Water urbanization; and at Santa Teresa for those living in the center of the country. The Alcatraz Project is a program of reintegration of young people with behavioral problems Revenga Municipality Aragua state, which aims to eradicate crime without violence. Since its inception in 2003, it has managed to demobilize eight groups of young offenders and decrease of 114 homicides per 100 000 inhabitants that year to 12 per 100 thousand inhabitants in 2013.
Rugby Program Santa Teresa including Alcatraz Project and Programme Rugby Club Rugby School and Community, are programs that promote education in values through sport and in which 2,000 thousand children and young people in schools and communities involved Revenga municipality.
Casas Blancas project is a program of urban intervention that seeks to create conditions for the promotion of tourism and entrepreneurship in the Council, capital of Municipality Jose Rafael Revenga Aragua state. He has managed the operation of more than 300 houses and public participation and private popular sector in the recovery of public spaces for the community.
