The international exhibition Logistics and Material Handling Exhibition (SIL 2015) will have one more year with the International Congress of the sector that will encompass all sectors that are part of the supply chain. This edition of the Congress, to be held in Hall 9 to June 11, will feature a total of 20-a days more than last edition-, participation of 227 speakers of international renown, and a hundred case studies of companies from different industrial sectors. Enrique Lacalle, Chairman of SIL, said “does not exist in Europe any other international conference like the SIL” and adds that “the goal this year is to exceed the more than 3,600 attendees that we had last year.”
The International Congress of the SIL will feature the XVIII SIL Logistics Directors Symposium, where the various workshops that respond to different sectors of the industry will take place, the XIII Mediterranean Forum of Logistics and Transport, with the VIII Mediterranean Summit of ports-the IV Latin American Summit of Logistics and Transport and the 2nd Session of Board Autonomy.
The Second Session of Board Autonomy
Thursday June 11 will be held in the morning. It will analyze the impact of trans-European rail corridors in Spanish autonomous regions. The Second Session of Board Autonomy will be chaired by the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, Transport and Housing, Julio Gómez-Pomar, and also with the participation of the directors of the Basque Government sector, government of Andalusia, the Government of Aragon, the Government of Navarra and the Government of Extremadura. Also planned is also attended by representatives of the ministries of the Generalitat de Catalunya sector the Community of Madrid, the Castile and Leon, the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha and Valencia.
