Registration captured at 3,700 meters deep in the archipelago of the Marianas, located east of the Philippines and southern Japan, allowed to discover a species of jellyfish whose color and complexion evokes a digital creation, a living being.

the animal, which does not have an official name, was named by the scientists in charge of the expedition as “Microsoft Paint” by like a jellyfish drawn on the computer program.

the hydromedusae are considered ‘raw’ jellyfish and tend to have a smaller size. Their life cycles alternate between a colonial stage that inhabit the ocean floor and free-swimming stage, as seen in the video.
