At least five people are killed in van crash in Spain – China Radio International

At least five people were killed and three others injured on Tuesday when the van they were traveling skidded off the road in southeastern Spain, regional government sources confirmed.

The accident occurred in the RM-11 highway, which connects the cities of Lorca and Murcia. Apparently the driver of the vehicle lost control and veered off the road, falling by a bridge.
 

Five of the passengers, all agricultural workers, were killed while three others were injured. However, some sources reported that some passengers remain trapped in the vehicle and the fire department, police and ambulance services were sent to the area.
