The parties will receive 52.7 million euros in grants … – euronews

Madrid, Jan 30 ( EFE ) .- The Cabinet today authorized the granting of annual government subsidies that correspond to political parties representation in the Congress of Deputies and amounting to a total of 52.7 million euros, of which 24.5 million are for the PP, and 14 million to PSOE .

The general state budget for 2015 made for this exercise a total of 52,704,140 euros, the same amount for the years 2013 and 2014, which represents a significant decrease compared with 2011, in which amounted to 82,354,480 euros.

As detailed reference of the Council of Ministers approved amounts are prorated twelve parts corresponding to each of the months of the year.

State grants are distributed based on the number of seats and votes obtained by each political party in the last election to Congress of Deputies.

For the allocation of these grants budget allocation is divided into three quantities equal:. one is distributed in proportion to the number of seats won, and the remaining two in proportion to the votes obtained

This is the distribution of state subsidies for political parties with representation in Congress .
