Barcelona, Jan 26 (EFE) .- ERC has closed today with CiU their agreement on the budget of the Generalitat 2015, allowing the week next final approval, after incorporating an extraordinary fund of 100 million euros earmarked 88% for social spending and the rest to build the “Catalan hacienda.”
ERC and CiU have presented this afternoon in a joint press conference the budget agreement reached as a whole, which has been positively assessed by both formations, after admitting that they are not the budget that would have wanted to present but they are the only possible in the current situation.
According to the Republican Pere Aragonès, 31% of the resources of the new fund will go to heading the Department of Social and Family Welfare to aid dependency, places for disabled centers, fund energy poverty or RMI although some of the money will also go to the Department of Education, up to 88% of the new game.
With regard to what they call “state structures”, a total of 10.8 million euros will be used to launch future “Catalan hacienda,” according to the CiU-ERC agreement reached between leaders of the two formations two weeks ago.
