Sisi calls on Spain to an alliance against extremism and exclusion – Terra Peru

The president of Egypt, Abdelfatah to Sisi, today called for an “alliance of peoples and civilizations” that addresses “extremism, exclusion and hatred” that considers factors that facilitate the spread of terrorism.

Al Sisi spoke thus in a toast next to King Philip VI for a gala lunch in the framework of the official visit to Spain, where both governments have signed several agreements.

Philip VI coincided with Al Sisi last January 30 in Addis Ababa, where both attended the AU summit and held a bilateral meeting in which the king expressed willingness to increase Spain’s economic presence in Egypt and to continue its support for the peace process in the Middle East.

In addition, the two leaders agreed on the need to continue the international fight against terrorism.
