ENTORNOINTELIGENTE.COM / CNN International Commercial Sebastian Laver hired an industry veteran, as its new Sales Director for Latin America content. Laver joins CNN from Reuters news agency to oversee the business of content sales pan-regional company through radio and digital platforms. Laver will be based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and will report to Greg Beitchman, vice president of sales and alliances content CNN International.
In his new role, Laver will be in charge of CNN affiliate network throughout Latin America, and will be the main link between CNN and more than 50 content partners regionally. It will also be responsible for driving new sales initiatives as part of regional expans ion plans of CNN.
“The focus on distinctive solutions Sebastián be of great benefit as we take a new direction in our efforts to further build our business on all platforms in Latin America,” Beitchman said. “There are exciting opportunities to leverage in this region as we continue with the development of our commercial offer. We will be counting on Sebastian’s vast experience in the sector both to improve our existing partnerships to create new innovative business initiatives.”

Laver spent the last 14 years at Reuters, most recently as Director of Content So lutions, Latin America. He held various senior positions with Reuters in Brazil and the US, in charge of managing strategic relationships through television, web, mobile, print and industry out-of-home. Laver worked with blue chip clients such as MSN / Microsoft, Yahoo! and Google, and was recognized on numerous occasions with the “CEO Circle of Excellence” award 2% of the highest performing employees of the company.
Originally from Argentina, Laver has a degree in Business Administration and an MBA from the University Cândido Mendes in Rio de Janeiro. He is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish and English
