Guadalajara, Mar 25 (EFE) .- A total of 238 organ and tissue transplants were performed between December 2014 and past donations from 32 February 15 them multiorgan tissue and 17, reported the expert Raymundo Hernandez Hernandez.
Therefore, the technical secretary of the State Board of Transplantation of Organs and Tissues ( CETOT) considered Jalisco stands out nationally in donation and organ transplants.
He added that surgical interventions were made in the 29 institutions of public and private health licensed to donation and transplantation in the state .
He stressed that the CETOT “develop a quality control program in the donation of organs and tissues, to troubleshoot the reasons for any loss of donors during the process of donation and transplantation”.
Meanwhile, the head of the Ministry of Health Jalisco (SSJ), Jaime Agustín González Álvarez, highlighted the joint work done in the state institutions of public and private health on donation and transplantation .
He noted that “the issue of transplants is very sensitive, increasingly we are seeing more need for this medical therapy in our state, but I think in Jalisco are doing well and are committed to continue doing well. “
