Court accepts lawsuit against Catalan Government – The Times

The Superior Court of Catalonia (TSJC) decided yesterday to admit a complaint in which it accused of disobedience to the Catalan President, Artur Mas, to organize a symbolic sovereignty challenging the constitutional inquiry.

The TSJC think that could Mas committing a crime of disobedience to disobey the order of the Constitutional Court (TC) which suspended the alternative query sovereignty, that despite that was held on November 9 in Catalonia.

The TSJC agreed last December 22 as admissible complaints and denunciations by the aforementioned consultation and investigate Mas and counselors of the Catalan government Joana Ortega and Irene Rigau for alleged disobedience to the Constitutional Court.

In the order in which they are declared admissible the complaint of the Prosecutor, the TSJC argues that there is evidence that the “concrete and specific” suspension of alternative inquiry ordered by the Constitutional November 4 “was not suspected respected by the defendants, “referring to the Catalan Government.

Despite the suspension, the Catalan Executive continued preparing the query” by way of fact “to carry out voting in public buildings , what was publicly blamed the Mas itself.
