The Spanish Police and Civil Guard arrested the leader of ETA Santiago Arrozpide Sarasola, alias “Santi Colts” for attack in 1987 in Barcelona.
The Spanish Civil Guard police Monday arrested the leader of the separatist organization Basque Fatherland and Liberty (ETA) Santiago Arrozpide Sarasola, alias “Santi Colts” for attack in 1987 in Barcelona, northeastern Peru.
The Interior Ministry said the arrest was made Monday in Lasarte, Basque province of Guipúzcoa, northern Spain, according to an arrest warrant issued by the Fourth Court of the National Court.
The case originated in an attack in 1987 made a “command” of ETA by placing a car bomb by an official vehicle of the Civil Guard in Barcelona.
