The Spanish Government yesterday accused the president of Catalonia Artur Mas of being “unable to govern” after he announced the call for early elections to take your region toward independence.

More announced Wednesday early elections on 27 September, for the second time since 2012, hoping to muster a majority of votes and then impose the secession of Catalonia, which produces one fifth of the wealth of Spain.

“When a ruler is not able to finish his term of office once, but continually uses this system (early elections)] is because it is unable to govern,” said the spokesman and Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria.
