The Civil Guard, the French Gendarmerie and the Mossos d’Esquadra have started Wednesday morning a joint operation against tax fraud centered Tarragona.
The research seeks to dismantle an international organization that allegedly defrauded the French Treasury and laundered money in Spain, according to Europa Press sources Meritorious and Catalan police.
In operation, supervised by the European Union agency Eurojust, involved Guardia Civil, Criminal Division of the Mossos d’Esquadra, the Spanish Tax Agency, the Judicial Police and Toulouse members of the National Customs Service Lyon (France).
The Police are
conducting records in several municipalities in the province of Tarragona and Perpignan, although research also extends at least to Almeria and Malaga. The operation will include at least twenty records and numerous arrests
