This Monday, the Spanish town of Palos de la Frontera was surprised by a powerful tornado that caused several damages in the streets and agricultural areas of the municipality.
Around 18:45 h, the weather phenomenon was present for the space of five minutes, left a path of destruction on streets, in rural areas, the plaza de abastos and up in an asylum.
The tornado caused "enough damage but not personal fortunately," said Carmelo Romero, mayor of Palos de la Frontera, after that concluded the phenomenon, which damaged cars and homes.
Also, the mayor reported that in the agricultural area of the town, the tornado "has ripped plastic of the plantations of red fruits and it has broken and twisted the irons that support it", but insisted that "what is important is that there are not any unfortunate personal injury."
Will be this Friday when the count of the total damages.
