The end of the so-called Gag Law is more and more near. This month, Congress has approved a motion of the socialist group to ask the government of Mariano Rajoy (PP) repeal of the officially Citizen Security Law. Citizens abstained and the PP opposed it, but the majority of the Congress has taken a decisive step to bury the norm. As soon as the repeal is formalized these will be the things that you’ll be able to do or see.
1. Convene a demonstration without having to fear that you multen
In Spain the demonstrations do not have to be "authorized", as it is a fundamental right, but it does ask you to communicate so that the forces and bodies of security of the States provide protection in the event that it is necessary or consider that the itinerary must be changed if, for example, match a demonstration by pro-abortion with anti-abortion in order to avoid altercations. After the gag law, however, introduced penalties on those promoters who had not reported the event. With the repeal of this aspect of the law, if you want to convene a meeting or a demonstration, you have one less worry. You will not have to pay for it.
2. You’ll be able to disrespect the authority
Fining someone for "disrespecting" authority, had become one of the major applications of the gag law, behind only the consumption or possession of drugs in public places. The media cases of young people, such as Ivan or Bethlehem, who wear t-shirts with the acronym AHAB could well be diluted. The acronym stands for All Cops Are Bastards (all cops are bastards) is often used to criticize the security forces and bodies, even to avoid impacts those who wear argue, that really means All Cats Are Beautiful, all of the cats are beautiful. Legally it is very questionable whether they can be sanctioned by an acronym written on a t-shirt and this is one of the aspects that stoop to the repeal of the law.
3. And record to the police
This had been one of the controversial aspects of the law, as many citizens complained that it was a way to hide possible abusive behaviors or antiéticos on the part of the forces and bodies of security. After the repeal of the law, if you see a police car parked in a parking space for the disabled, as happened to this neighbouring Petrer (Valencia), you’ll be able to take a picture and upload it to Facebook without the fear that you fall 800 euro fine.
4. And to point them with a laser
Until now, was considered a sanction in the case of targeting police officers with a laser pointer. Now the uniformed, that they may see lights red may not sancionarte for it.
5. But not the drivers!
So do not overdo it funny because you can be putting the lives of dozens of people at risk.
If you had gone through the head dazzle airplane pilots or bus drivers, better do it look. You do not have ni puñetera grace, is an outrage and civic in addition, it continues to be punished.
6. Provide or ask for sexual services on the street
Many of the associations reported, however, that one of the perverse consequences of the implementation rules, victims of trafficking who were forced into prostitution were also fined for this, so that its debt with the pimps increased.
7. Immigrants cannot be returned hot
In the original text of the government are not expected, but during the parliamentary proceedings, the PP submitted an amendment to legalize the 'returns hot'. Those immigrants who are the border in Ceuta and Melilla waiting for the right moment to cross it may be rejected automatically without having to manage administrative procedures as the identification of the person. The reform provides for the repeal of this aspect, and the police shall administratively manage each case before sending the immigrants back.
8. You’ll be able to transport addicts with no penalty
Driving the cundas or 'taxis of the drug' was considered a sort of induction or facilitation of the drug, so that the Citizen Security act, provided for its enactment. Now the majority of parliament has agreed to consider that this is not the best way to fight against the addictions and decide to take it out of the section of penalties.
9. Escalarás buildings as a form of protest without fear of a fine
industrial Action such as those carried often by Ngos such as Greenpeace were well out of the law. With the new agreement the parliamentary those who want to hang a banner as high as possible will only have to fear to fall in an attack of vertigo.
