Active Image April 6, 2015, 9:53 Madrid, April 6 (PL) The Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, today upheld the disqualification of Catalan separatist plan and said it will appeal to the Constitutional Court if the regional parliament adopted a declaration of independence.

Rajoy said that will never be recognized by Europe a declaration of secession as that agreed to make several Catalan parties last March 31 if they obtain a majority in the regional parliament in elections due next September 27.

In an interview with National Radio Spain, the Spanish Prime Minister said the Catalan President, Artur Mas, fully aware of its position on the announced election in that region, although he said he does not know if they made.

In this regard he stated that, if realized, will be regional elections without the plebiscitary character Mas intended grant.

Asked about the criteria in the Basque president (head of government of the Basque Country), Inigo Urkullu, who advocates revising the agreement of the Spanish autonomous he said that this mechanism has worked well.

The priority of the Basque Country and the substantial change they expect the Spanish in the region is that ETA announces its dissolution, said Rajoy, who at the same time acknowledged that the organization has fulfilled its independence declaration to abandon violence.

In his opinion, the system of autonomy in various regions–cuestionado propitiated the highest level of self-government in the history of the Basque Country
