Expansion / The new service will only be available for your smartphone Nexus 6 and in the US.
Google’s ambition to enter the telecommunications market and become a mobile operator to consider might materialize today, as published by the Wall Street Journal.
As it was revealed a few months ago, the company will probably use the networks of other telecom companies already established in the market, such as Sprint and T-Mobile, and apparently, will have an intelligent system that ‘jumps ‘from one to another depending on their availability in order to give a best possible service to their customers.
One of the most striking qualities of what some have called “Google Wireless” is that their future clients only pay for the data they consume each month and they will be paid the amount of not using, which distinguishes it from most operators offering a flat rate which is the same outlay for consumers regardless of the data use. In addition, Google allows operator calls via WiFi.
The biggest handicap is that this new entrant will only be compatible with the Nexus 6 phone, the flagship of the technology. I also just come to the US and there is no communication, official or unofficial, its possible landing elsewhere.
The first rumors about this possible new facet of Google began circulating the internet at January. The company was quick to reveal their intentions and confirmed during the conference steering Sundar Pinchai at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
As for the other services offered by Google as mobile operator, only a few details from leaking to those who have had access several specialized portals are known.
Apparently, this new service technology would be known internally at the company as “Project Fi” and will feature an ‘app’ called Tyscho that would allow each client to control their consumption, close or open an account and even change their phone number. It is also rumored that the plan may be transferred from one phone to another to a phone without having to change the SIM
