 On Tuesday, he initiated the first meeting of the Advisory Committee Unasur I project at Fort Tiuna, Caracas, with the participation of military delegations of UNASUR countries like Argentina, Brazil and Ecuador.  Unasur I, integrating project
 
 During the installation of this meeting, the President, Major General Manuel Henriquez Nestor Perez of Venezuela Project Advisory Committee considered that this airplane South American training will be an integral element in political, technological, industrial and commercial, security and regional defense.
 
 He said Venezuela, in addition to providing human talent, has resources such as aluminum, bauxite, petroleum, oil and lubricants that provide added value to this project.

 Henríquez Pérez specified that Venezuela will participate in the first phase with making six pieces; however, aims to increase this capacity to 33%, “because we endeavor, need, human talent and raw materials to carry 33% to building this aircraft.”
 
 He mentioned that this aircraft will be certified to operate in Venezuela, in other South American countries and “beyond our borders.”
 
 Meanwhile, Maria Natalia Pin, representing the Ministry of Defense of Argentina, considered that the development of these projects are moving towards South American integration.
 
 “We are looking to move forward and deepen ties of cooperation in the field of defense, under the South American Defense Council (established in December 2008),” he said.
