Two women aspiring to application of PP in Madrid – El Universal (Venezuela)

Madrid .- The president of the ruling Popular Party (PP) in Madrid, Esperanza Aguirre, and the government delegate, Cristina Cifuentes, will be the formation of the conservative candidates for mayor of the capital of Spain and chair of the government of the region in regional elections next May 24.

As reported by Spanish media, the National Electoral Committee of the PP, the Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, approved the appointment of two candidates, whose announcement was awaited with great excitement in Spain, said DPA.

Aguirre, 63, had already been nominated for mayor of the capital, one of the most important places of the country. It is one of the strongest and PP media policies, but also one of the most controversial.
