Madrid, March 6 (EFE) .- The full Constitutional Court has admitted the constitutional challenge raised by the Generalitat of Catalonia against certain provisions of the law General Telecommunications grounds that can invade powers of the Catalan government.
The court of constitutional guarantees agreed to refer the complaint to the Congress of Deputies, the Senate and the Government, which have fifteen days authority to initiate the procedure and make assertions, in ruling made public today.
The admission against various provisions of Law 9/2014, of May 9, General Telecommunications, poses no pronouncement on the merits of those cases, the Court resolved in the near future.
The Government agreed last February 3rd submit a constitutional complaint against certain provisions of the general law of telecommunications to understand that this legislation state can appropriate responsibility for planning and urbanism, as well as media and audiovisual content services, as stated in an opinion of the Board of Statutory Rights.
