Wildfires affect almost 6,000 hectares in Spain

Havana, Aug 12 (RHC) This Friday continues in Spain emergency brigades with the extinction of about 15 forest fires declared this week in Galicia, where already burned 5,700 hectares.

the Ministry of Rural Environment of the autonomous community held this Friday called risk level real for the population, three of the fires, most of suspicious origin.

Given this business situation in the sector of wood in Galicia condemned the forest fires that destroy the mountains of the region, considered great forest reserve in Spain and lung of the Iberian Peninsula.

Meanwhile, the Animalista Libera Association requested the creation of a protocol to protect wildlife, then in 2006 dozens of horses died burned unable to escape to be immobilized.
