A Basque driver beats world record for blood alcohol levels – Radio HRN

French police on Thursday arrested a Basque drunk driver gave 4.75 grams per liter of blood, a rate that beats the world record for breath.

The man, 56, had state 240 kilometers at the wheel in that state until the Germanderia gave high. This emerges from a report published by the French newspaper Sudouest.

The agents found him on the A-89, parked in the emergency lane on the road that goes from Bordeaux to Perigueux, at the height of the town of Saint-Seurin-sur-l’Isle and giving off a strong odor of alcohol.

According to the same newspaper, the police transferred him to the nearest hospital after the driver was unable to undergo the first test: Exhaled. The man, who later acknowledged not knowing where he was going or how much alcohol was consumed, will appear before the Criminal Court of Libourne in October. At the moment, it has been withdrawn driving license for at least six months.
