MADRID (Reuters) – The Popular Party (PP) and the Liberal Party Citizens (C’s) seen more votes in the upcoming elections and could form a government with an absolute majority of 180 seats, according a survey by Sigma Dos published Monday by the newspaper El Mundo.
According to the survey, the PP would add 128 seats, five more than in the elections last December while C’s achieved 52 deputies, an improvement 12 seats.
the PSOE would maintain the electoral result achieved in December, with 90 seats, but we lose 20 deputies and would get 49 seats.
the survey is based on 800 interviews conducted in March, with margin of error of 3.5 percent.
in a survey by Metroscopia and published Sunday by the newspaper El País, the PP would remain as the largest party among respondents, but the result would drop one percentage point to 27.7 percent.
also the PSOE would drop a point to 21 percent, while C’s would move to can with 18.8 percent, an improvement almost five points from December, ahead of Podemos, which would drop four points to 15.9 percent
