79 years has undergone a woman waiting to recover the remains of his father. A man who was part of a group of miners who were massacred at the hands of the Civil Guard in Camas (Sevilla) on July 19, 1936. Lida Salgado, is the woman concerned and explains how he continually said they had no idea where it might be the body of his father, and possibly find lying in a ditch somewhere.
Now when Lida, 84, will give his father a proper burial. Along with the remains of his father, have found a total of five to nine bodies, body comprised of sixty-seven people were killed during the Franco regime. The bodies have been found in what today is known as a park road education.
The body of the miners had multiple fractures and the coroner has ruled that most of them died instantly. For Francis, the father of Lida Salgado, is totally different. Francisco was one of the victims who used his last strength to get to City Hall to warn about Franco’s military coup. Soon after, he died from multiple wounds.
His body and that of other miners remained missing until today. A moving story that has made a woman of 84 years as Mrs. Salgado may have provided his father a proper burial after being demanding for years an investigation for the cause. Now the beloved woman has claimed that the name of the avenue is modified by the name of the miners, and Rafael Recio, current mayor, is committed to this cause to study the proposal.
On the other hand, archaeologist Andrew Fernandez, has opened an investigation that has uncovered another possible burial close to the remains found. It would be a grave in which you think might be the bodies of five people, although it is believed that it could be more. Remains that could be part of a larger group of sixty-seven shot in 1938 after a court martial.
