Rajoy stressed that any constitutional reform “will be done with the parameters” posed the Catalan independence, that they want to “liquidate the sovereignty and unity of Spain,” he said, Efe reported.
The Spanish Justice Minister Rafael Catala, expressed the government’s willingness to future reform of the Constitution in specific cases, as could be the division of powers of the State and the autonomous communities.
“One thing is what the separatists say and another Constitution reform that can be done in the Cortes (parliament)” and that they “will not be happy” because no reform will “raise the parameters they pose” because they want to “liquidate the sovereignty and unity of Spain,” Rajoy argued.
According to the latest survey by the official Center for Sociological Research (CIS), the ruling Popular Party (PP) would get 28.2% of the vote if elections were held today, although its current majority revalidaría absolute.
