Prison for two jihadists arrested in Spain for funding the Dáesh – Terra Colombia

A judge of the Spanish National Court decreed unconditional prison today for two Moroccan brothers of 33 and 22 arrested yesterday for allegedly collaborating in the financing of self-styled Islamic State (Dáesh).

Legal sources reported that the judge sent to prison notified and unconditionally Abdelhak and Omar El Jelaly, the first for a crime of belonging to Dáesh and the second for terrorist financing.

The two arrested yesterday in Gerona (northeast) denied all the facts before the judge, and Omar said even unaware that another brother, Bachir, who died in Syria, belonged to Dáesh.

The research reveals that Abdelhak not hide “their absolute radicalization” in social networks and participated in sending money to Syria, income that ran the little brother, Omar.

Both used the device for channeling funds devised by fighters members Dáesh, a system that follows patterns of identical behavior: shipments filed intermediaries in Turkey, which forwarded the money turn to the final recipients, who receive in Syria.

The Spanish Civil Guard yesterday arrested the two Moroccan brothers, in the first investigation in Spain which gives concrete evidence demonstrating the specific purpose of use of remittances from Europe to facilitate operating the Dáesh.

In fact, as told Efe research sources, the Civil Guard seized more than 9,000 euros (about $ 9,898 at current exchange rates) at the home of the brothers, money who allegedly they were to allocate the group terrorista.EFE
