The reservoirs of the Ebro Basin are located at 76.6% of capacity – EntornoInteligente

Expand / The reservation of dammed water in the Ebro Basin rises to 5,735 cubic hectometres.

This figure represents 76.6% of total capacity, according to data provided Monday by the Ebro Hydrographic Confederation (CHE).

In the same week of 2015, the situation was impounded 6,059 cubic hectometres, 80.7 percent of the total. The average for the years 2011-2015 has been of 5,609 cubic hectometres.

The minimum of the last five years, this week, for the year 2012, with 4,304 cubic hectometres. Currently, the average of the years 2011 surpasses 2015 and below the figure of 2015.

In the Ebro Axis, the dammed water rises to 2,001 cubic hectometres, 86 , 8% of the total capacity. On the right bank, 402 cubic hectometres, 64.6 percent, while on the left bank there are 3,332 cubic hectometres, 73%.

The Ebro river, passing through Zaragoza, takes a volume of 775.14 cubic meters per second, when a year ago recorded 459 cubic meters per second. Castejon (Navarra), the flow is at 647.57 cubic meters per second, compared with 524 a year ago.
