Herrera believes the "best measure" of social policies has been … – Yahoo Finance Spain

BURGOS, 23 (IRIN)

The president of the Junta de Castilla y León, Juan Vicente Herrera, argued Monday that the “best measure” of social policies has been no request redemption for Spain, a personal decision of the Prime Minister, Mariano Rajoy, as recalled.

“It was the best measure of social policies” he asserted Herrera, was quoted by Europa Press during his speech at the symposium ‘Consolidating economic recovery’, which was attended by the Minister of Economy and Competitiveness, Luis de Guindos.

Juan Vicente Herrera has remarked that this measure has been “key” to the national economic future to allow maintenance of the welfare state and stressed the importance of reforms “unprecedented” undertaken by the central executive to drive economic system, improve competitiveness and modernize the financial system.

President of the Board has also highlighted the economic progress in the Community through the management realized that lead out of the crisis with less social divide.

In this regard, recalled that regional estimates go through registering a growth of 1.4 percent of GDP at the end of last year and expressed his satisfaction with the rates achieved in the field of exports, where has passed a new record.

Despite all this, Juan Vicente Herrera has indicated he will not be satisfied until the employment rate is reset and emphasized the importance of citizens support the consolidation economic, against the “failed” policies of the past or those that generate “uncertainty”.

The colloquium ‘Consolidating economic recovery’, organized by Diario de Burgos and Santander Bank, has been developed in the Forum Evolution of the capital of Burgos with the participation of about 550 entrepreneurs and political representatives of the Community
