Madrid, February 20 ( EFE ) .- The Cabinet has appointed regional deputy PP Hair Antonio Sanz new government delegate in Andalucía replacing Carmen Crespo, who stepped down from the post to stand for regional elections next March 22.
The Deputy Prime Minister Soraya Saenz de Santamaria, informed of the appointment in the press after the Council of Ministers.
Antonio Sanz, born in Jerez de la Frontera (Cádiz) in 1968, was until now deputy PP spokesman in the Andalusian Parliament.
During his career policy, the lawyer, besides PP spokesman in the Andalusian Parliament, has been secretary general of the PP in the autonomous community and party chairman in Cadiz, a position he currently holds.
He replaces Carmen Crespo, who ceased to stand for elections Andalusian number one on the list of PP in the province of Almería.
