ERP. An approximate of 200 women of the sierra of piura, will be gathering at the first Provincial Meeting of rural women, an event that aims to analyze and discuss the role that women play in the economy, usually in the condition of artisans, agripecuarias or local producer. The venue will be Huancabamba and is expected to be October 29, in the auditorium of the Municipal Palace of Huancabamba.
The event aims to strengthen public policies on empowerment, greater access to the labour market and the strengthening of capacities, because they are transcendental subjects for personal and family development of rural women, in this way improve their quality of life.
The meeting is organized by the Regional Government through the management of regional Social Development in coordination with the Provincial Municipality of Huancabamba, in the framework of the international day of rural women, with the commitment to promote gender equality policies in the province.
The day is divided into three blocks: the first, in the morning: A training Workshop on the leadership of rural women, and the second: a fair called "Women in the field: we Eat, we Sell and we enjoy what we produce", which will offer food products and crafts; where the creativity and the empowerment of women put on high the work of women in the field.
Finally, the third block: you will develop by the afternoon with a festival: "let us Celebrate together our day", where we will offer various artistic performances and cultural, theatre, singing, music, with the aim of giving prominence to the leading role of the rural woman.
