King Philip VI dissolved Congress and convenes today to vote – the Nacional.com

After four months of negotiations failed to elect the government in Spain and the deadline for the presidential inauguration, King Philip VI signed the decree dissolving the Parliament today and convene new elections for the next 26 June.

As mandated by law, and with the endorsement of the Congress president, Patxi Lopez, the king will be responsible for calling elections and give the opinion to the constitution of the Assembly, which must . done in the 25 days after the election
